History
We began dancing together professionally in 1987 at a dance studio in Chelyabinsk, Russia, after completing years of intensive study in both International Standard and Latin (10-dance). We studied at the same studio with well-known professionals such as Olga Foraponova, Eduard Apolonev and Olga Kormanovskaya. We married in 1988 and continued competing as a couple, and danced in the top-ranked International Standard "Formation" Team from M-Studio located in Novokuznetsk, Russia, from 1993 to 1996.
From 1996 to 2005, we owned and operated a dance studio, Expressia, in the cities of Svetlogorsk and Kalingrad, teaching students of every level--beginner social dancers to advanced competitors--as well as coaching formation teams, hosting studio showcases and operaing our own Eastern European competitions. During this time, Sergey also completed Russian Federation Adjudication Certification.
In June of 2005, we made the move to the United States, coaching and competing for the Columbus Dance Center in Columbus, Ohio, and taking a number of students to the prestigious Ohio Star Ball. We relocated to Florida in January 2007, starting our professional teaching business in 2008.
Since then, many students have experienced the life-changing benefits of dance. Every year we take students to multiple ballroom competitions--students that place in the top five consistently. We founded the Show of Shows as a way for our students to perform and demonstrate what they learned.
What We Teach
In addition to being professional ballroom dancers, we are also certified Community Education Instructors with the Hillsborough County Public School District. We teach both International and American Style ballroom dances, as well as nightclub dances. We are skilled choreographers who can create your wedding first dance and show routine.

Whether you’re a first time dancer or a seasoned professional, you can learn, have fun, and perfect your technique with private dance lessons or group classes.
We train dancers to be competent and elegant whether that means social dancing or ballroom competitions. Many of our students have won Pro-Am championships at competitions such as Grand National Dancesport Chamsionship, Florida Classic Series and Millennium Dancesport.
